Symbolic Value Zero
A Buddha missing his middle and crowned by a telescope steps from petrified wood, away from itself and to the black mirrored surface. The surface is a 16 ft forced-perspective rectangle. At the horizon of the platform stands an Ainu ceremonial costume in the corner of the room. Supporting the platform and the costume is a tree branch of the same surface as the hallow figure, but reveals itself as a branch-in-itself which reaches back to the stone from which the figure steps.
Noise

The non-specific nature of noise forces our consciousness to resolve certain supposed dichotomies. Noise is amorphous, oceanic, and seems to mirror the feeling of non-specific dread that floods peoples minds while contemplating life, the world, and the future; yet it expresses a feeling of bliss. The spectrum of non-specific bliss ranges as widely as dread and occupies the space and question of what is health in the disquiet balance between escapism and liberation. There is tension intrinsic to the presupposed grey between these specifics. This tension is a void through which the subjective compression of thought, experience, and phenomena passes through. Reconciling this tension is the pursuit of truth.

The human being is abandoned

; he and she are the future of themselves. In this realization, the realizing of a type of humanity is committed to. Through the dissolution of imposed realities and perceptions, we find that this abandonment is a humanism embedded in the aggregate of our consciousness.  Abandonment is a humanism of present-ness and absolute freedom. It causes and constitutes our being-in-the-world as a question.
